you can disconnect the wire for the sensor but its illegal and ford wont do it for you but if you do it yourself then your good as long as you plug it back in before any state inspection where they plug into your vehicle

just do it properly and you wont have to worry about rigging anything.

yeah im lucky with the way i did it. its rigged but im stationed in north carolina and am resident to tennessee so i never get inspections. its great. specially since my tint when i got pulled over read 4 percent on the cops lil detector thinga ma jig.
