This being a 2015 it seems most haven't really had to do any tire changing etc. I'd hate to have any 'trimming' done to the plastic inside the wheel well area (front of wheel and or back) but the person said they could do it without it looking bad or it stand out to the 'untrained eye'.

My mechanic said in his opinion adding coilovers can be a pain having to adjust them "a lot".

I even stopped by the dealership and they were not even sure...they said there could be a little rubbing with full turns, but wouldn't know until they were on there....but did say they should be fine otherwise.

Think I'll head to a 4X4 only shop and get those guys opinion. Hard doing this with companies online as they all have different advice on what offset, tire size, lift etc etc that would work for my truck.

Yeah, with a good 2.5" leveling kit you'd be able to fit that tire. There are guys that run 35" tires with a 2.5. Even with a 2.25" level (which is what Bilsteins add up to) they fit your tire. So I'm thinking you'll be fine with either choice.

I just got back from a 4X4 'custom' shop and the guy said with my new 2015 F-150 XLT that the offset would need to be 0 or -12 with BFG AT KO2 305/55/20 and still might need to cut on/shave the steel protector bar/s that are in the front wheel wells...front towards bumper and back.

I'm not sure I'd be comfortable with 'cutting/shaving' etc any part of the steel frame. Not sure if it wouldn't hurt, unless, I were to hit something head on, that bar wouldn't be there to 'lessen' the damage maybe?

Those wheels are
305/55R20
Diameter : 33.2"
Width : 12.01"
Wheel : 20"
Circumference : 104.2"
Revs/Mile : 608

but you're saying people with same year truck as mine with a 2.5 leveling kit up front are running 35" fine? I'm not doubting you, I'm just curious why most shops and online web stores are saying some 'trimming etc' will need to be done for those 33" tires to fit my 2015 truck to prevent rubbing. Oh, and some have different offsets they say 'will work'.

I'd hate to buy wheels and tires then find out I'd have to 'gut' things inside my wheel well for them to fit.

Not a problem on the not thinking about the bars...they are from my understanding a 'new addition' so I'd say most wouldn't automatically think 'whoa, bars'.

If I listen to the shop they are wanting to cut some of those 2 bars away.....I'm a little skeptical about that being done not knowing what it may 'weaken' or 'mess up' for lack of better words. Any thoughts on the cutting away of those bars?

*Edit
Well I did just get off the phone with a business that a local Ford dealership uses to lift, level and put on bigger ties etc.. and they said they haven't put on 305/55/20's but mostly use 295/60/20's on the 2015's with 2.5 level kits as well as lift kits and they do fine.

They said there would only be a 1/2" difference between the 305 and 295 width wise/clearance wise inside the wheel well and SHOULD be ok. Still no definitive 'yes good to go' but maybe I could live with the

295/60R20
Diameter : 33.9"
Width : 11.61"
Wheel : 20"
Circumference : 106.4"
Revs/Mile : 595

since it's width is not that much less but it is taller...which isn't a big deal.

Hahaha, I try to be as active and helpful as possible. There's a guy on here that has a lifted 2015 and he cut his bars away. But it sounds like your tires are perfect! Post up some pics so I can see it!

And I appreciate it bud. I'll add the pics on here once the tires are on...ordering through Tire rack and auto anything, so I'd say it will be after the Holidays.

I have heard some decent things about having the road force balance and filling with nitrogen, so I'll give those two a shot.

Snapped a few pics this morning while she warmed up.

Haven't cleaned the tires up yet, but here are 4 after and 1 before the 2.5 leveling kit, BFG AT KO2 305/55/20 tires, 20/9 +25 offset Ballistic wheels. I'm happy with the look, no trimming or grinding etc needed, and the feel on the road is different, but not bad at all. Have a black Lund Bull Bar with the LED light bar built in shipping in a week....Not really needed, but they look good in my opinion.
