Default 33 inch mudders

I have a 1998 f150 4.6L 4x4. Do I need a lift for 33 inch mud tires?

I would try to avoid messing with the T keys but would def look into a leveling kit. That will do the trick and will add improved rake and handeling of truck. Plus not too exspensice and easy install

A leveling kit for those trucks is retarded. Its $100 bucks that does the same thing a jack, wrench, and 5 minutes can do.

Cranking t-bars will stiffen your front suspension, and put your cv axles at a more extreme angle. But i think theres a couple people on here who have maxed out stock t-bars. But most dont go past 2.5" of lift and have had little to no problems

sorry bud didnt mean to offend you but i believe the tourqed angle of the cv axles can cause extra strain on many parts in the front end that would not otherwise be caused by the leveling kit.

just my $0.02

I have a 98 f150 4x4 I've got 33x12.50 goodyear durratracs on her the fit stock just had to get a wider rim for the tire it does rub a little. I highly recommend you stay away from the t bars unless you want to replace cv joints as well at ball joints and it feels like you have no suspension

A leveling kit does the same exact thing as cranking t-bars. They do not make 2" or 2.5" IFS drop down brackets. The only way to put the front suspension back to factory specs is a 4" lift.
