Default -24 offsets

I am looking at some wheels that have a -24 offset. My present setup on my 05 FX4 with a 6" lift is OEM Raptor wheels with 2" wheel adapters. The reason for the adapters was that, without the adapters, the control arm was chewing up the inside of the rims on the front.
Here is my question. Raptor wheels are, I believe, +34 offsets. There are 25.4 mm in an inch, so with my 2" adapters that would make -54.8 , then subtract + 35 which is the wheel offset from -54.8 and that would give me -15.2 offsets as I sit now? So......the -24's that I'm looking at would stick out only slightly more that what I have now?
Man....now that I read this, I hope it makes SOME sense.
Just for clarification , I would not be looking to use the adapters on the new wheels. Thanks in advance.
