2011 Ford F150 with 18" wheels/tire. Got some 20" wheels and tires from a 2018 Ford F150. Besides 18" vs 20", the offsets and bolt pattern are the same; the 18" wheel is 7.5 inches in width the 20" wheel is 8.5 inches in width. Tire store is concerned larger wheel/tire will hit the upper control arm. Anyone have any experience with this swap?

 

Seems pretty simple... You already have the wheels and tires, so put them on and find out.

 

I agree...Just didn't know if I need a 1/2" spacer. Can't do it for a couple of days in the tire store. I don't have place here to try the fit.

If the overall diameter is the same, you should be fine.
