I did it with my 17, sold sport 20s for sport 18s, then decided I needed different offset so I’m selling the sport 18s.
I wanted more tire between rim and road

I'll be removing my sport 20's for aftermarket 18's within the first couple of days of taking delivery... LOL

I've been thinking of doing the same thing. I just want the more smooth ride of 18's.

Why are so many people removing the 20"s? I plan on getting the XLT 4x4 Sport within the next few weeks, but there are very few locally that don't have the $1095 20" option. My preference was to have the 18" wheels due to the unsprung weight difference and the possible ride difference, but the dealerships are all ordering inventory with 20s, because that's what "everyone" wants. Am I looking at the 18" wheels for the right reasons?

Yes - I swap mine back and forth every spring and fall.
I run the 20s in the summer and the 18s in the winter.

I bought my truck specifically with 18’s. I did not like the bling of the 20 chrome look. As it is I don’t like my chrome 18 inch wheels on xlt either.

I would have preferred to get the painted sport 20’s but we’re not available as a stand alone option without the black interior and console shifter for the summer. Also, oddly the payload sticker would have been higher with the 20’s by 130 lbs or so....

if anyone in in the Midwest wants to unload a set of the new painted sport 20’s I may be interested.

There was someone on the Craigslist in Lincoln that had a set of 20"s that were the painted ones. (I did a search on the list from Springfield, Illinois). I don't know where you are in the Midwest
