Default 2" leveling kit and TIRES!

Just recently bought a 2013 Supercab FX4.. I have a HBS 2" leveling kit on the way.. Next mod is of coarse wheels and tires.. I mostly do main road driving but occasionally during hunting seasons see some "off-road" action at the farm.. Have the wheels I want picked out which are 20x9 Ballistic Off Road Scythes.. Looking for a tire that will decently fill the fenders.. Any suggestions? I was quoted a 275/60r20 but want to see exactly how they look and fill the fenders.. SHOW ME YOUR LEVELED TRUCKS AND TIRES.. Please comment size with pictures, appreciate the help guys and gals!

That size tire will probably be the lightest in weight...most are P rated but BFG has a KO2 and Goodyear makes the Duratrac that are LT rated but heavier. I'm running the Toyo's in that 275x60x20 size on the stock 8.5 wide wheels. I still get decent gas mileage and pretty good offroad traction with these tires (33x11) on my truck thats leveled 1-1/2 inches.

Appreciate the info.. Nice looking truck as well.. I just don't want rims on a truck that looked like they're wrapped with a rubberband around them.. Need some meaty tires but not to big.. They get pricey

He's got the 20s on his truck. So that's pretty much your set up, other than the fact that the wheels look different. You'll look great. What's the offset of your Scythes?

I'm new to this forum, I have a 2009 2wd super crew leveled and I'm wanting to get new tires. I was thinking of a 295/70r18 which is about a 34.2 what are y'all's thoughts

Way to hijack this thread, bro. To answer your question, Aggies, you won't fit them. A leveled 2wd will only fit 33s. Also depends on the wheels.

Twisted, that'll look sick, dude! post up some pics when you get them.

When you buy tires check the weight on them...the lighter tire will benefit your fuel mileage and performance. The taller you go will throw off your tranny shift points and decrease performance as well. A one inch increase from the stock tires in height is not too bad but once you go up 2 or 3 inches in height you'll notice a big difference. Can't wait to see the end result.
