what disc formats does a 2001 f150 6 cd support

Default what disc formats does a 2001 f150 6 cd support

I want to record cd'f for my truck. Can't find info on what formats it supports. Can I use cdrw. Also , does it support mp3 and WMA.

When I had my '01 Bullitt, I also had a 6 cd player (only option available on a Bullitt) and I recorded all my music on cdr's or cdrw's in wave format. Wave format is a much better format that mp3. Don't know if mp3's will play in such an ancient cd player though.

Thanks. Would you have any idea where I might go to see the specs for the cd/radio.. I can't even find out what brand they are. Owners manual is no help.

Maybe do a search on google. Ford likes to use Panasonic and Phillips for their gear.
