I would replace the head unit before I went that route.

That would be way more expensive than the $150 I put into the audio control. Plus I like the sync.

I thought you were referring to the Audisson Bit 10. Which one did you use and your system has no hum/hiss?

Audio Control LC6i. There is a 7 series one with more bass control but my system has enough as it is. Works great.

Default 2010 PAC question

Starting to get goodies for adding an amp,swapping door speakers,add sub keeping factory HU non nav.
Was told frd24 is what I need. Went to

Says 2004-2008
Will this work with my 2010?

I have tried 2 FRD24's on my 2012 single cd factory radio and neither work. Sure I get sound but it's not going to the amp. Any other way to add an amp without cutting factory wires and keeping Sync? Thanks

Either use speaker level inputs to the amp or tap low level converters into the speaker wires

Got my pac and second replacement clarion xc1410 amp installed yesterday. All works well with the exception of a very low clicking/ticking sound coming through the speakers on the radio side. I can switch to the CD and no low clicking/ticking sound all is good. On the radio side if I turn up the volume to 3 bars or higher it pretty much drowns out that low noise. I wonder if it is my antenna connection?
