Default Tweeter in a Gauge Pod

Hey Everyone,

I am trying to add some better sound to my 1993 F150 and I was wondering if anyone has ever used a Gauge Pod to house a Tweeter?

Will a Gauge Pod work for a Tweeter? Will it Produce good sound?

Thanks,

Rich

One tweeter? I would recommend up high on sides would be better for imaging.

The more I thought about it last night I figured out it probably wouldn't work because I would need a Gauge Pod for the Passenger side and I don't think they make Pods for the Passenger side so that might not work.

I have thought about doing speakers down by my feet but I am 6'6" tall and I wear size 15/16 shoes so I want to keep as much space for my Big feet as possible.

I found this link that I thought was very cool. I might have to try to build these. What do you guys think of these DIY Tweeter Pods?

Check out Page 9 in the link I posted above. That would look awesome in your truck or any Ford Truck.

I just purchased the factory A pillar mouldings from Tasca, pricey but it looks good, then I just hot glued the JL C3 tweeter into the moulding.

I think it looks great and close to factory.
