Can anyone answer a question of how this works with Sirius? When you switch the units do you need to call Sirius and switch radio numbers? The reason I ask is because I bought a lifetime subscription when Sirius first started which in actuality isnt really lifetime. You are allowed to transfer your subscription to a new radio 3 times and I have only 1 transfer left which I will be using to switch to the radio in my new truck. If the Phoenix radio has a separate Sirius radio that needs to be activated then that would count as another transfer and I wouldnt be able to
If you have a unlimited account, you may have access to the web/app streaming as part of your package. This way you install the app, and stream from that, and it doesn't use up a "transfer"

Does not have Sirius built in. You can however use the SiriusXM Android app for web streaming. I dont have one, but have dont a lot of research.

I dont have an unlimited account, Its a lifetime subscription..Not the same thing LOL. I paid $499.00 in 2005 for my subscription and thats all I have ever paid. They charge for everything extra you try to do when you have a lifetime subscription. I have to pay extra for streaming online. The only reason I got Sirius was to listen to Howard Stern. Now even he isnt worth paying for so if my lifetime subscription ever runs out I wouldnt pay monthly or yearly subscription to keep it

Anyway, to answer your question, in this case, you would lose Sirius...lol at least you wouldn't have to transfer so still have 1 left down the road

No I still have to do my transfer to my new truck. I have to wait untill the 6 month free trial is over. The good thing is this transfer will probably last the longest as It will be on a factory installed radio which tend to last so should be able to go the life of the truck.

Any updates from the phoenix radio users? I am considering this option. I have a 2018 XLT with manual AC, sync 3, and center console. I use my Sirius/XM daily and would like to keep that option.

If you use SiriusXM, as far as i know for now, there is no option to add that to these units. except the online/app version.
So far my system has been working great, still fiddling around with layouts to personalize the view but am very pleased with it.
My current issue is call quality. Its hit or miss, depending on background noise and such.
I am in the process of adding a external mic to my radio. I will be desoldering the stock little crap mic and soldering on a 3.5mm jack, then run it to my headliner and add a good mic.

Hey all.. Anyone else have the phoenix head unit? I just got mine this week. thought it would be an easy plug and play, but I was wrong. lol.. I have a 2015 SCREW with manual AC and center console. I get no power to the unit.. anyone have any pictures of the wiring that would be helpful? I watched the video from Linkswell. they talked about the wiring, then when he makes all the connections, you can't see what he is connecting and to where...

Did you order the correct one, the Manual AC one? i know there is a difference but not sure what the difference is.
However, as far as the plugs go, they are shaped to only fit in one place. Just make sure they are all the way in, i know a few people have said they had issues with ac or power and it was the plug did not seat all the way in.
