Sub setup suggestions

How did you like those E10s? I’ve looked at them for some time and never heard a sundown sub. Was worried the Internet fanboys were making them out to be more than they were. If I had the space I’d really like to run some kicker comp q’s but would have to run 8’s instead and a custom enclosure made. Never thought of using 8’a as I use to run 12’s years ago in a large ported box. Would be concerned with the output so thinking foxbox with dual tens is the sweet spot without having to do a seat lift

I'd recommend an amp from here as mentioned by Bad Packet/Can follow on Youtube and FB

Hell I even put a custom enclosure in my wife's 2020 Wrangler with a Sundown X8" on a SAI1250 Sundown Amp.

I ran two type r’s in a fox box ported on a 16 F150. They would get pretty loud, definitely going to need bigger amp if you want to push them to their full potential. Best part about them is the price. They have shallow mount ones now but have no personal experience with those.

How deep was the box? Surprised it fit and that’s really what I’d prefer to run but limiting myself to the fox acoustics enclosure as I won’t be building anything myself

was in RC 2011 Ram, it was a good 1" or more past motor, been awhile LOL
The Comp Q is pretty deep tho.
For any under the seat application.

The Fox isn't a bad enclosure, you will be happy with it. Long as you put some decent 10's in it and the right amount of power. Nothing less than 500rms subs and atleast a 1000 watt amp. If you wanna go a step further there are tons of people who build custom enclosures that might run you twice the Fox but worth every penny. Check out some of the Facebook Groups like the Sundown Group or Down For Sound Group, Bassheads on a Budget is a decent group, Basshead Life, Bangin Trucks.....so many.
