Default replacing head unit

my wife is giving me a new head unit for my truck this Christmas...
2007 XLT Super Crew (non-sub truck)

It's a Double Din unit...
It's not fancy (Panasonic CQ-5800).
I appears to be a discontinued model, but has the features that I wanted....

Anyways....
It's been a while since I done the stereo install thing...
I've already replaced the speakers and that makes my truck sound much much better...

Besides the head unit....
I need a mounting kit.
I need a wiring kit. (don't want to cut stock)
Do I need a antenna adapter?

Will I need anything else?

How about suggestions where do I get this stuff?

I'd check with Crutchfields. They offer a lot of 'universal' wiring harnesses, mounting brackets, etc. If they happen to sell the unit you have then you can even get diagrams and instructions that will help. I put a Kenwood DNX5120 in my 06 Lariat and as I recall there was a antenna adapter involved - but it might have been for the Sirius receiver adapter, not sure.

To check the exact parts you need go to www.metraonline.com and you can search for your truck and it will tell you everything. Almost any Car Audio store carries Metra but I know Best Buy does for sure so you can just write down the part numbers that you need and they will grab it all for you.

Good luck with the installation, it's a breeze to replace the H/U's in the 150... the paneling pops off like it was built to be replaced.

Got things together yesterday... I rec'd my new bracket from Crutchfield and it too was too tight to fit... but it wasn't as tight as the previous... So with a little file work, I was able to install my head unit into the mounting bracket...
Shortly there after, I mounted my new head unit into my truck...
It's nice to have more power and the ability to connect my MP3 player...
