Default Replaced sub enclosure

Below are some pics of a new setup I decided to try along with links to the product pages. I decided on the NVX 10" subs as the specs were well suited for the amp I'm using and the new sub enclosure. I have some other NVX products, and I have been very happy with them. Their products are hard to beat for the money. The sub enclosure is from Fox Acoustics, and was designed to fit under the back seat of 2009-2018 Supercrews. It's designed for 2 10" subs in a vented down firing enclosure. It took a little while for shipping, but when it arrived it was very well packaged and the build quality seems great! It fits very well under the back seat and only sticks out slightly on the edges. I previously had a vented enclosure with 2 JL Audio 8W3's. It sounded great and got pretty low for a couple of 8" subs. However, this new setup with the 2 NVX 10's definitely gets way lower, and the sound quality is pretty good as well. Overall, I'm very happy and would recommend this setup in a heartbeat. Especially given the cost.... The 2 10's came out to $75.00 total shipped, and the enclosure was $190.00 shipped. I listed to a wide variety of music, but mostly country. Now my other half always wants to put on some booty music when she rides along lol.

Sorry, not sure why the photos showed up as duplicates. Using a new hosting site, and still trying to figure it out!

2.05 cubic feet for a vented enclosure for 2 10s sounds a tad small. Glad you like the sound though.

Agreed it's a bit on the small side, but worked well for these particular subs.

Don't those subs have vents in the back of the magnet? Do they sound okay with the little space there must be behind them for the magnet vents?

Check out the link to the sub enclosure. There's a pic that shows the top of the box where the manufacturer designed what looks like bowls so that the subs would have extra clearance. In my opinion, it sounds great!

general rule of thumb is 1"- 2" is the minimum for pole vented subs. obviously more is better but it won't have any negative effects.
