Default Quick Question About Kicker Hideaway Install

2021 F150 SCREW 300A
Before the weather gets warm and I can finally install this thing, I have a couple of questions for you.
1) It comes complete with an amp install kit, the power wire is pre-spliced with an inline fuse, but the power wire seems a bit small. I think it is somewhere in the neighborhood of 10 ga? not totally sure as I really didn't look to close at first and the website doesn't say, I am thinking it should have an 8 or 6 ga power and grnd.

2) I know in my '17 the amp connection was under the C pillar plastic on the drivers side, but I think I have read that in 21 they stopped doing that. I felt back behind the plastic on this truck and did not find the amp plug already wired in. Do you know if this is really the case before I get busy with the premade install kit?

Link to product if you want to know more. TIA!

Oh that's handy! Thank you.
I got the speaker from Amazon just before the sale ended, I will look at Crutchfield more often.
