Yes it looks like it belongs there. I put in a test disk I made up that has several different flavors of MP3 and it played all of them with out a hitch. The Receiver is very good as well. Denver is home to KUVO which is a really great Jazz station but it is very hard to get here in Cheyenne because their transmitter power is not all the high and the signal path takes it right past A local FM station's transmitter sight which makes KUVO very tough to get, the Pioneer receives the station with out any problems. The It sounds great now but it will sound a whole bunch better when I get a proper set of speakers installed, I am a happy man.

I didn't really have trouble. This truck was equipped with the premium sound system and thus has an audio amp. I do not have the systematic for the wiring harness on this system and the kit that came from Crutchfield does not match any of the plugs on this amp. I do not want to use this 12 year old amp with this new radio. Right now in this part of the world it is cold, and I mean well below freezing and the wind blowing all the time. I decided to track down the wiring later and avoid frostbite.

If you need the harness to bypass your amp. I have a stereo shop in western Nebraska not to far from you. I could sure ship you what you need. PM me if you want.
