Default Orange wire goes where

I'm trying to connect my FO1 T-Harness to the DNX890 harness and the Maestro RR instructions state to connect the orange wires (parking light) together. I have an orange wire on the FO1 harness, but no Orange on the DNX harness. I have a Orange/white wire marked "ILLUM". Is that the same wire? Do I connect them together, or do I leave them both alone?

The 'Illum' wire to the orange wire is correct. Once you get it running, hold down the soft 'MENU' (by soft - button on the screen) and you will get a menu that you can use to select brightness and contrast for lights on and lights off.

Got mine installed last weekend. Can't say enough good things about this receiver! My favorite part are the gauges & tire pressure screens! It took me about 4 hrs to install it. The hardest part was splicing into the 2 diagnostic wires. I got a refurb from Crutchfield for $459. That was a lot easier to talk the wife into instead of $999.

Is there a way to change the time to 24-hour format?

I think you press and hold on the clock display.

Expecting my new KW DNX890HD today.

Hey 12V guy - I tried to use Synch to request a vehicle health report
http://support.ford.com/sync-technol...th-report-sync
and got the response that the vehicle had to be running at least one minute before I could make the request. Any ideas?
