Hey all, just picked up an 04 Scab on Wednesday, and I need to get a new stereo in it. The way I was using my subwoofer in my last Scab (an 01 that was traded early last year) won't work in the 04, because of the front arm rest, so I'm looking at an underseat box.

If that one's not good, could somebody recommend me a box for under $100? Thanks!

 

it seems kinda small at only .65 cf ... but if the sub you are using will opperate well in that amount of air space i say go for it.. if you have some skills with wood get you a tape and some 3/4" MDF and build your own.

 

Yeah, .65cft is a bit small, but I don't want one of those huge double-sided ones that takes up the entire underseat area in the back. I could always throw some fiber fill in there to make it "seem" bigger to the sub.

I have another question, and I'll leave it here cause it's related to my audio install (the source, in fact): In the following picture, is there anything that screws will interfere with inside the dash in the area under the mount I'm holding?
