Anyone know anything about this? I’ve been researching ways to be able to mirror my phone to In dash factory screen with Sync 3. This seems to be the only option.

iPhone...😩, I found a couple similar videos but I would have to unlock my phone. My only issue with this is I use my phone to virtually pay for everything and I’ve heard some horror stories about unlocked phones being hacked.

By doing this, does it bypass the in motion video feature?

Ya it works while in motion, Ive got large property and use it there on our trails. The nice thing is the factory head unit controls the touchscreen, so I have a 2nd android phone that I have hooked up for my mirror phone but I lock it in my glove box and rarely have to touch it

Good idea. So the second phone is used for this purpose? I’m assuming you have it on a data plan to be able to use videos and maps?

You could do a shared data plan if your 2nd phone has an active Sim but I use my main phone as a WiFi hotspot or I also have a mobile obd2 WiFi hotspot I use
