On to the next question: What is the largest SD card size supported? What is the max # songs/directories. Off to the manual to answer those..

Edit: Answer: The system is capable of indexing up to 15,000 songs. It looks like the drive must be formatted as FAT or FAT32.
I thought I read somewhere it would support up to 128gb SD, I currently have a 64g in mine and it is full with about 7000 songs.

pg 421 w/o MFT
Note: The system is capable of indexing up
to 15,000 songs
pg 468 w/ MFT
Note: The system is capable of indexing up
to 30,000 songs
I'd hate to have to wait for it to index 30k songs! It takes forever already with what I have.

Yea, I've been afraid to try with a drive I have with my google play library of 9000 songs. So far I've just used the crappy satellite radio stations or stream Spotify.

For tuning and demo I generally wander way back to the old Sheffield Labs stuff, Lyle Lovett And His Large Band, Dianne Schuur And The Count Basie Orchestra (one of the most amazing live records I've ever heard), and a demo CD that came with some Boston Acoustics speakers I bought way way back in the day all stuff that was mixed/produced by Jeffery Weber.

DJ Encore - Good for bass, but better for treble.

Nickleback Never Again - Good for bass
