Whatt? I ride with my back seat down all the time. Maybe I'll go take some pics tomorrow. OOOHHH okay just saw you have an 01. Sorry to hear that

And I meant my truck doesnt rattle at all. You can force some distortion out of the speaker if you get dumb with the volume and gain :P

getting a box from musicmose and getting a dc sound lab level 2 10" will be louder and cleaner than the mtx option

This is true, but the reason I chose the MTX (i looked at musicmoose first) was because it would look more "factory" than the boxes at musicmoose. I am sure it is a great product, but I am done with carpeted speaker boxes. Just my opinion...i guess in my older age looks > sound

I bought a punch p3sd412. It's a dvc shallow mount 12 at only 3"5/8 deep. box dimensions are 13.5" x 4" x 30". My thinking was why have an 8 or 10 when I can fit a 12 under there. The box will stick out under the seat about 4", but if u sit in the back and measure to where your feet are placed on the floor you'll see you should be ok.The only mistake I made was buying a 4 ohm insteed of a 2 ohm. The biggest problem I have now is that I don't want to loose my factory 6 disc changer, and can't find my hi level input plug for my amp. I know by using a hi to low adapter I'm gonna loose some power in the transition.

I feel the same way about the thunder forms. That's why I went with 12" punch shallow mount. It's a pretty straight foward rectangle box and it will have plenty of room to fire down 'cause the hump is about 1 1/2 to 2 inches taller than the floor.

Best Buy sells the sub for 224.00 and other websites were pretty close to that price but I found it at Sonic Electronixs for 109.00 with free shipping so I got it from them. They have ads on this forum. I still have'nt installed it yet and don't know when I will.
