Man, I really appreciate you being patient with me. I now understand what I need to do. Thanks!
Not to totally confuse my self, but if I were going to install the amp to power the door speakers using the LOC, then I would be doing what I described above where I am intercepting the factory radio wire, running it to the LOC and then speaker wire from the amp back to the speaker, right?

nope, dont ever run the wire strait from the deck to the loc and then back to speakers, you only run the wires from the deck when your using a 4 channel amp, you may have said that in your last post but sorry its been a long day and im not fully understanding everything so i apologize

a loc will save you time, and give you alot better sound quality. Its really as simple to install as removing radio bezzel, unscrewing the radio and connecting to a right side positive/negative and a left side pos/neg. If you already spent 100-200-300 on sterio equipment a loc can add maybe 10-20-30 depending on where you buy it from.

If you've got speaker level inputs on your amp, it has a built in LOC. The only way you'd get a benefit from a LOC is if it was also a line driver, which increases the voltage of the low level signal (basically a signal amplifier), even then it is just another way to introduce noise to your system (IMHO) and to artificially increase the system volume.
Skip the LOC, you can always add it later. Just tap off the rear speaker runs for the sub.
