Still don't see if the 6v turn on will suffice. I wish they had an in depth manual. I'll probably go with the kicker since I can understand the install and activation thanks to threads here. If there's any issues with this I'd end up having to pay for install which is part of what I was trying to avoid.

Also Tally, I didn't word my response the best. It looks rude so I apologize, I meant to ask if you were seeing something I wasn't.

Doghauler.....not a problem. I too have made posts that in hindsight did not seem good. The Nanobox is model SA110SP. I found a SA112SP PDF that states,

Auto Turn-On
SA112SP is equipped with a remote auto turn on function when you use the Hi-level input. Use of the low level (RCA) input will require using the manual turn-on feature. You can also use "add-a-circuit" as I did for remote turn on to the sub amp.

Thanks, didn't think to look for docs for the other models in the range.

The auto turn on is by the speaker level inputs and has nothing to do with the 6V

From the kicker hideaway thread, some mentioned 150-200w as the most the stock wiring could handle. If this sub was out when I got my hideaway I'd probably try it out.

I'm still debating. I need to finish my speaker upgrade and a few other things then I'll possibly go this route if no one else has done it and reported their findings.

I went ahead and jumped on the Memphis as I had a discount code and got it for 200 even. It doesn't look like I will have it until after the middle of the month though. Once it arrives I'll be sure to provide feedback to this thread.

Yeah let us know. Wish that was out when I got my kicker. But not gonna spend 200 for a 50 watt and 2" upgrade.
