Will my factory backup camera connect to the Kenwood? I am told by the Sales person (Maybe not)
Will my Sirius ant connect to the Kenwwod I am told by the Sales person (Possible)
Will my steering wheel controls connect to the kenwood I am told by the Sales person (add on adapter)

you need the pac module for the steering wheel controls, the easiest model is the one with the infared adapter
the back up camera will not connect, you will need to buy an aftermarket one itself
the sirius will most likely work
kenwoods are great strong units, you cant go wrong with it and you will be happy for years to come

I have the Kenwood 712 and I am assuming they are similar.
The backup cam is just hooked up with a single RCA, so if that is what the stock camera has, you are good. You will have to buy a Kenwood sirius tuner to hook up to your deck, the stock tuner will not work. You can use the stock antenna, but you have to take off the little plastic cover (it just pulls off).

I have the 8120, and I like it.
I would recommend it to others.
I have the following add on's:
1 The PAC module, for steering wheel controls.
2. Siruis module, with stock antenna.
3. USB mount.
4. Ipod cable in the glove box.
Future add on's-
1. OEM back-up camera to 8120, via modified RCA connector.
2. Front camera.
3. HD TV
4. Exerior speakers from zone 2, in the bed.
Your sales person sounds suspect. I might look at another store.
Check out my pictures in my profile.
Best of luck,
