Search is your best friend. There are tons and tons and tons of posts on installing aftermarket head units, the steps to do it, and what is required.

I just recently did this but with a Kenwood DDX616. I got rid of my sync as the new HU did everything but voice recognition (it does but in a limited capacity) which I thought was useless as you couldnt use it if windows were down or passengers were talking.

Depnding on how much you want to pay or how much work you want to do there are a number of wire harnesses out there. If you want to retain sync you can expect to pay $150 + for a harness if not you can expect to pay anywhere from $20-$80 depending on how much wiring you want to do.

1. Dash kit (I went with Scorche)
2. Wire harness (I went with axxess harness that gives you all the wires needed)
3. Steering wheel interface (I also went with axxess)

I have basic abilities and it took me a few hours going slow reading directions and soldering and shrink wrapping everything. It turned out very good.

I am not sure about the stock camera. I bought a license plate mount mirror that has night vision built in, tapped into the switched power and ground at the 7 pin trailer harness then ran a video RCA to the back of the HU. I did not tap into the reverse so when you put it in reverse the HU switches automatically, I only need the camera sometimes and dont want it switching everytime I put it in reverse.

Looking at the threads about installing a factory camera, it looks like they do not use RCA like most aftermarket cameras. I am sure you will have to do some wiring to make the stock one work.
