What rockford are you using? I went out today shopping for a new front stage and listened to the T3 6 1/2 components and Hertz Hi-energy. Both sounded amazing

Solid looking work! Can't wait to see how the reverse mount speakers look.

Rockford Fosgate p1652-s components. I bought 2 sets for 200.00. They are ok, the tweeters are really...... bright.
Hertz are way better but not worth the mark up in price. You should look for dayton audio or definitive technology... they are very good for the price.

Never knew Definitive made anything but home audio stuff....I've heard their little sub before and that thing pounds hard. I'll have to try and check those out before I drop money on the Hertz

That what it was, home theater speakers. I had them laying around, they are 4 ohm, so why not? LOL. Ill be changing everything to dayton audio withing the next 3 months.

Hertz cost way to much money for me. You can get good SQ without spending a ton of money.

Haha that's awesome. I'm sure I'd do the same if I had some setting around too. Anything would be an upgrade from the factory sony crap!

With a little reasearch (diymobileaudio.com) and some patience you can have a DIY component set that stomps anything from a big brand for the price. I've been through a few DIY builds using drivers from PE and Madisound with great results. Take your time on the build and make sure it's all exactly how it should be. There's nothing worst than finishing a big 'glass project and seeing where you cut corners because you were in a hurry.
