Default ISO-SOT-984-w Lead,cable,adaptor

Hello all. I ordered the UK ISO-SOT-984-w Lead ,cable, adaptor add an amp harness and I am experiencing a hum and alternator whine. I have checked all of the ground and power connections and they are all ok. The only thing I can think of is the ground wire on the harness is to blame. Anybody using this harness have this issue? If so, what did you do to remedy the problem? Thanks in advance.

I have read about other reports of a hum but not whine. Hum is ground and whine is alternator. I would try a better ground on the harness.

I am using that harness to power an Alpine KTP-445u, I have no hum. The Hum could be caused by having your gains turned up too high. Are you using Speaker Level inputs, or did you change your Radio/ACM to output Low Level using Forscan?

I have my ACM set to output Low Level output, and disabled the factory EQ using Forscan too. on the Alpine I have the gain barely turned up, so I get no hum/whine.
Here is the video I followed to set my Gain, it takes a bit of work, but the results are well worth it.
