I've got 4 12" kicker cvts in my 2010 super crew. Mounted then under the rear seat. Running them off an elemental designs nine.1 amp. They sound great. Now I need to upgrade my door speakers, add a 4 ch amp and do the big three. I might even add a deep cycle and get a 300+ amp alternator.

Following link is my youtube video showing my system, my usb2 mod and my reflectors to turn signals mod.

i think im finally going to decide on what you said!! but i dont understand the thing about the box??

it would be all the way across the back of the seat and high enough to where i can have my seat all the way back??

lmk thanks!

"I've got to say no way to a class AB sub amp. I'd use it for your highs (don't use rear speakers)"
For a single sub, if you run a truck box, and have an automatic, you can get away with shoving the box between the seat and dashboard.

Since the time of that pic I've turned the box over and have the sub downfiring, and it slams like 300w and a cheap *** little 10 shouldn't be able to. With the sub downfiring I also gained the top of the box as storage, and was able to get wedge style cupholders from walmart. Aside from the 2 wires in the back of the box it really doesn't look like there's a big speaker there

i have thought about that..but i dont want the subs to be exposed...im not a gold coin so not everyone likes me u know what i mean..haha

plus i think the idea of the 2 eights with a ported box would be killer!

Measure it up man. A box for two will have to be roughly 1-1.25 cubes. Plus a 4" aeroport.
So bassicly the box to face the subs up would need to be 12" tall if u can fit that 9" deep and 24" wide the externaly mount the aeroport so its outside the box. I would guess it will be louder than any two forward firing subs in a single cab u have ever heard
Take it slow on the box build man its always better to fit two pieces and see if they fit then add another piece and see if it fits. Go one piece at a time until you are comfortable with the box and seat position.
I can't design the box for you. Just give you a general idea.
In pickups fire the subs up and port sidesways thats usually the best bet
