Lightbulb I need your $.02 On audio purchase priority

I have ~ $2,500 to spend on my audio system. I have plans to buy the Advent Navi-system with XM-Sat attachment and Ford reverse tailgate camera, first. I've already purchased a FoxBox (10s) but no subs yet. I have plans to replace the front door speakers with component 6x8's & the rear with coaxial 6x8's. Give me some ideas of what should be purchased first with this initial installment...

I would think you could buy everything you need for 2500. How much is the advent navi and accessories? Sundown E10s would work well in that foxbox and can be had for about 210/pair. A decent set of components and a set of coaxials should cost about 250. Id buy a 5 channel amp like this to run your doors and subs in one shot. This deal includes all your wiring as well for under 200

Your into it for 660 plus whatever your navi and acessories cost

I don't know how much the Advent unit cost. I would imagine it's less than the top two aftermarket units out (Kenwood DNN990HD & Alpine INE-Z928HD) their both around $1300-$1500 price point

I love that alpine unit though.... You should be able to do everything for under 2500 easily then, even if you have to spend 1500 on

I agree, that Alpine with the 8" screen does look nice. But don't forget the installation accessories that you have to purchase like the $300.00 dash kit & if you want to retain Sync functions than you have to purchase more accessories.

You can do the z928 for 1100. then 300 for the dash kit that includes all the wiring too. Not sure about sync retention though
