How to keep sync screen with aftermarket HU???

Default How to keep sync screen with aftermarket HU???
Is there anyway to keep the original screen with sync with an aftermarket HU?? I always see a seperate display with a module which looks a little chinsy?? If not, what happens to the screen once the HU is put in?? Is there anything on the display at all other than the compass?? I have a 2010 Screw with the regular stereo with sync no nav. Thanks

It will display "Built Ford Tough" along with temp and compass.

A guy on F150.net says that the radio screen still works but you have to use the steering wheel controls of course.
