"fuzzy" rattle after wrapping and stuffing stock B&O sub enclosure
2018 lariat w/ B&O
After reading through a handful of threads, it seemed like the lowest hanging, best bang for your buck fruit to improve the bass in the B&O system was to wrap, fill and seal the stock sub enclosure. Doing so, I'd say there's overall minor improvement, if you're looking for it, but now I get an unpleasant, fuzzy sounding feedback when someone is talking- either on a podcast or DJs talking between music- occasionally I hear it on vocals on a song too. It's kind of fuzzy/crackly/staticy sounding, not popping, and I didn't get this noise prior to the sub enclosure modification. Any ideas what this could be and what could be causing it?

Wiring is good. It's almost like the crossovers aren't very... effective? It sounds like the midtones, especially on voices, come through the sub.
Based on the forums, it sounded like wrapping, sealing and stuffing the sub enclosure was generally worth the effort without going down the rabbit hole?

I was hoping to avoid that, and the wrap and fill would do enough of a trick. If I was to replace, I'd probably get one of those all in one self powered ones, keep it simple. But wheeeeeew, about to chase the rabbit! The last 150 I had with a base unnamed system, I replaced the front components and ran them with one of those 200w kicker key amps, and that made a big difference. The more I've driven this truck, the more I realize the B&O sucks more than I first thought. I have a feeling replacing the sub is just going to overpower the rest of the system, further highlighting it's deficiency?
