Default factory sub install

So I'm trying to install my factory sub into my buddies 06 lariat. He has the 6 disk head unit but it did not come with a sub. It does however have the plug in under the back seat and a harness behind the Strock radio but That plug does not seem to fit anything. I'm a bit confused on what needs to happen next in order to make it work. Any help is appreciated.

If he does not have the Factory Sony System it will not work . The sub needs a Amp to power it..

If you wish to use the Sony Sub you will need a line converter and an Amp

Please note I said he had a 2006. The 06's didn't even offer a Sony system, the upgraded audio was contracted to Audiophile, and the sub has an amp mounted to it with a plug on the side of the amp to power the sub.

there is a million different answers to that.. Basically what you will be doing is tapping into the speaker wires to feed through the LOC to then out to the sub..

If you want to do it on the cheap here is a good one to use

That makes sense if you are wiring in an aftermarket sub and amp but this is a factory sub with the amp attached to it. It has no RCA inputs or 12+ 12- contact points. It is simply a harness that plugs into the sub and a harness behind the radio bezel. I do not see how this would work with this setup.
