That is rather expensive, dont you think you could do it yourself or know someone who could help you out.

I also plan to upgrade the door speakers. I have not decided yet. I got estimates on the box and it will cost about 400-450 not counting the actual equipment.

heck ill build it for that in a heart beat.

Well, when i was talking to the guy about it he just spit off a number. He said materials are rather in expensive but the labor is what costs. I have never built a speaker box of this magnitude. It will be a bit at at time. Plus i plan to get other estimates on what i want.

definatally, that is why I said try it you yourself because if you mess up you are not out to much money if it dosent work out.

you could definately build a nice box for what you want for less then 100 bucks for materials easy. and thats covering it also. plus u would have ur labor, but who cares about that, its always fun to do these kind of things.

Yeah, you are probably right. I will have to look into this a bit further.

Stick with two subs three (besides getting pricy on amps) tends to sound a little sloppy.

True. I guess a good set of 12'' subs with the right amp will sound really good.

I reckon it depends on the box and how much space each sub gets.
