It's my first year in competitions, so I've got a long time of it ahead of me Those are some really good numbers you got though! Someday I'll be up there. Haha
I've never owned any dc products, but I've never heard a bad thing about them. They seem to get great reviews from everyone

Thanks! Here are a few more pics that I promised. I am PATIENTLY waiting the delivery of some carpet. I can't really progress to the next step until I get the carpet installed in the center chamber.

Just got my quote from Line-X to do the outer portion of my box. Is this the going rate for this type of work? I understand my box is large. My 'general dimensions' are 51” long x 29” tall x 21” deep. Can it be done cheaper price wise but with the same quality of product using a professional lining service?

"The exterior of the box is about 43.94 square feet (not including the three holes).

Standard black LINE-X: The price is the lesser of $352 ($8.00 per square foot) or $2.00 per pump stroke. I realize pump strokes are meaningless to you, but just know that you won't pay any more than $352 + tax.

Black Premium (optional, but recommended if the speaker will be exposed to the sun.): The price is the lesser of $440 + tax or $2.50 per pump stroke.

Let me know if you have any questions.
THANKS!

Thanks! ..as for being tight to screw down, brutha, you got that right! The TOP THREE SUBWOOFERS will be down firing into a 5 3/4" chamber.. think of it sort of as "corner loading" as far as the sound goes (but I don't believe the term is very applicable in an automobile setting). It's more about standing waves and the level at which the speaker is mounted (in the center of the cabin). This guy over at DIYMA explains it rather well: http://www.diymobileaudio.com/forum/1363418-post11.html

Needless to say, for a lower powered sealed subwoofer setup, it should be rather loud (again, remember my goal is not totally fixated on SPL numbers).

Seems a little high just to do the box, I would look into some of the DIY bedliner kits
