DNN990HD and Maestro RR

I just got that unit, it's great but it won't auto connect with my phone for hands free use. It pairs and connects initially. I have to delete and repair the phone every time I turn off the vehicle. Got the update from Kenwood but no joy . Took it to the installer and they couldn't get it to work either. Have you had any problems with hands free bluetooth auto connect?

Yesterday after switching over to the DNX890HD my phone was still working without doing anything.
By the way, I already ordered the Scosche dash kit, it looks so much cleaner because the opening is smaller.

Well, that is one problem I don't have. In fact, my phone is paired with Sync which I done last week when I first installed the DNX570HD.

I am using the SV200 add on unit for the Sat radio. I haven't messed with the replay or favorite functions yet. My Sat presets work as they should.
You should be able to turn the replay off....that how it was on my last Sirius unit (OEM in 2012 Ram).

yeah my presets work and I can turn off the replay, when you shut the truck off and start it up the next day the replay comes back on and you have to shut it off again every single day or when the truck is shut off and started back up, I will call kenwood and see if there is a way to keep it off permanently

Let us know what Kenwood's answer is! I haven't even messed with all my settings yet, too busy at work and around the house.
One of these days I will contact Kenwood myself and ask them if they come out with some firmware fix so the Maestro RR can pick up Kenwood's clock signal! I sure would like to get the clock back in my Sync display. Probably wishful thinking on my part but if enough people ask about it they may just do it!

called kenwood and as of now, there is no way to permanent turn off the Replay feature in siruis, and they made it sound like if you switch to a different sound source and go back to siruis, the replay feature will activate again, and I have not tried that scenario yet, hopefully they will put it in a update to allow you to do that

We'd love to put the clock and we can already do it technically. The issue is that we don't have a real time clock in Maestro RR so we can only display the time and date if the radio supplies it to us. Kenwood did not support that feature, so if you really want it, please let THEM know as we'd love to make it happen.

dnn990hd update
I got the latest update and that didn't fix it. Apparently I got a unit with a hardware issue and they are replacing it. We verified that no phone would auto connect and that the same phones would auto connect with the display unit in the store. You may want to contact your dealer or kenwood if you are still having the issue. Good job Kenwood for taking care of it!
