Default dc audio 1.2k amp installed!

well since my audioque 1200 blew, i went and bought the dc audio 1.2k! ive only had it installed for a day now, all the settings are on low, and wow it still sounds good for as low as the settings are now! ill fine tune it once i let the amp warm up and break in a little. but as of right now very impressed and it's built like a tank too. its a heavy SOB. i was reffered to this amp by loganberry if anyone remembers him. he's very insightful and helpful too. he's a sales rep for dc audio so if anyone is interested in dc audio he's the man to talk to. sorry for the mess but to me i dont really care since the back seat covers everything up. Just an FYI there is no such thing as 'breaking in an amp". You should set your levels asap after installation so you don't damage your speakers.

True story!

Also, I was checking out your wiring; Here are a few comments if you want to get the best out of the setup.

Did you use Scosche RCA's ?
I use to have the same type in my setup before I upgraded. I changed to Tsunami 700 series and the difference is night and day. Just a suggestion if you want cleaner signal and better SQ. Its only about a 15-20 upgrade.

Did you use 16ga wire from Wally Word to go to the sub? It looks like just regular automotive wire. If you are hearing any noise through the sub, I would look into getting some good insulated 12-14 ga. Oxygen free seems to be everyone's favorite. This should also cost no more than $20 bucks.

+1... If you purchased cheap wiring take it out now... It'll save you the trouble later on... How is loganberry?? Haven't heard from him since January...
