dash kit won't fit right?

Default dash kit won't fit right?

so i just got my pioneer 4300 and i got the dash kit sonic electronix gave me. i put it in and it looks like **** theres all kind of gaps, lets just say it doesn't sit flush we even cut all kinda of stuff out to try and make it fit. i need help guy!

need more info.... what year truck do you have and what model dash kit do you have?

need more info... what model of pioneer 4300? avh-p4300dvd? that is a double din... deh 4300 ? this is a single din

notice the top and the right side how it doesn't fit flush

Get the Metra 95-5812 Double DIN , it will fit perfectly there.

i know when i installed my kenwood double din in my 98 Flareside. I had to extend the stereo gap in my dash by roughly an 1/8inch in height an i also had to chop out the 45degree stereo wall an replace it with a 90degree stereo wall to allow room for the double din.

no modification was needed to install the Pioneer Double Din in the 2005 model, plug and play, using the Metra Kit.

we're all good guys got the dash kit proffesionally installed for 40 bucks!!! he said i had the wrong dash kit, it looks like a champ now
