Default boxes in crewcab?

where to put them? will they fit under the back seat on the driverside?

Yes you can fit a box under the backseat but you will have to use a shallow mount sub. Your best shot will be to use a seat lift kit so you can fit a bigger box under the seat.

what are some of the better shallow mount subs that are priced ok ?

Kenwood, rockford, and pioneer are all making good shallow subs and are not terribly expensive if bought online. They do make boxes that fit under the back seat, and they sound just fine...THere is a guy on ebay that sells boxes amps, and subs all in one kit. (they are kicker brand) You can get plenty of bass from these shallow mounts, no need to raise the seat.

There are plenty of 10" subs that fit in single or double sub boxes for under the seat.

thanks alot is there a sze i should be looking for? does it have to fire up or down or does it matter?

i have the 10" shallow pioneer and love it. it gives off great bass and fits under the seat.

Stick with the 10....A 12 would require more air space than you can really get. Doesnt really matter whether it fires up or down, My cousin has the 10" kenwood excelon sub and it sounds nice once broken in, i had an old pioneer 12" i didnt really care for it, im looking at a P3 (RF) now. How much bass are you wanting?

nothing insane but i would like to hear it and maybe a few others around it to beable to hear it but nothing crazy i enjoy listening to music all the time so i still want to hear it if you know what i mean!
