Thanks Ty, it's a 97. Remember that clamp you showed me that was in the way, I took it off and then in the back I had to cut out the plastic inside. Then I found the receiver (I think) of the factory radio, and I had to cut out metal part that you can't really see because it was right behind the plastic I cut earlier. The good thing is that it fitted perfectly and did have to cut anything on the dash.

So the front of the dash is still strong without the metal bracket?

Yeah, the bracket looks like it was made as a safety feature for the factory radio, so it wouldn't move, or so you couldn't put it a double din deck.

I have a jensen flipout and so far it works fine I've had it for 6 months of a little offroad use.
