Default AVH-P4200DVD Quick Question
I'm needing to check the HU before installing, can I connect the red and yellow wires together to power up? The yellow is power and the red is accessory.

Actually it should be the other way around, red should be power and yellow would be accessory. To answer your question you can wire the two together to power it up along with black as the ground. Good Luck

WB...yes you can. And Black'd... red is switched power, yellow is constant +12V.
