Quite impressed with the sound overall. These two JL's pound harder than my kickers. I will be posting my old set up for sale sometime soon

i am surious which was loud. There is more surface area with the 8's. Were they ported? I know the 10's are down firing. I have a fox box and I really want 4 8's but just dont think sealed will be loud enought. Ive always had ported.

Aggie - do you like the shallow mount? I was looking at a 10, and they have great reviews, just wondering how you like it?!
TIA
