2018 B&O Aftermarket Upgrade
Hello,
Looking to seek some advice here. Have a 2018 B&O factory system...lacking a bit. My older 2015 Corvette with a Bose factory system blows Ford's B&O out of the water.
I've been poking around places and have gathered that I need to buy a NAVtv A2B unit to make a decent system...my cheap ***** is thinking about finally order one.
Anyways, mapping out below system. Looking for and guidance/recommendations if I should change anything out.
Sound Deadening: 80ml thick in all doors
Door Speakers: Alpine R-S69C.2
Amplifier: Alpine PDXV9 Amp
Sound Processor: Pioneer DEQ- S1000A
Tweeter: MB Quart FKB108
Subs: 2 12" JL TW2 in a slim box
Questions
1. How is overall system from standard B&O? Are there any items I should change out?
2. Do I need to buy a line controller like a LC2I?
3. Should I replace above JL 12" dual subs with a single 13" JL stealthbox? My biggest concern is loosing midnotes from factory 8 inch sub.
Thanks.

I would recommend Morel Maximo Ultra 602, Dayton 408, Audio Control lc-6.1200 instead of the stuff you picked out. It will not only be a tad cheaper but I think a tad better. Two 12s will always be better than a single 13. You will not need a LOC if using a DSP and NavTV setup. You will not lose any midbass. You'll just have to trust me on that.

Agree'd with above.
Go with Morel's over your choice of speakers. Alpine and MB quart aren't the greatest speakers, and not their market to make the greatest speakers for the most part. Their market is the person that stops by a car audio shop and wants a quick and cheap upgrade. They have some decent stuff, but not superb. Their amps are awesome. A lot of their subs are boomy (one note wonders) but they have some nice surprises in there but they cost $$.
Definitely skip the MB quart coaxial 3.5".
Processor, get a dayton dsp-408, its $50 cheaper and way more powerful.
Do you mean tw3 or tw1 for subs? If tw1, I might look into the stealthbox because IIRC it uses a tw5 which is a much better sub compared to a tw1. Or upgrade the tw1's to tw3's. The tw3's are amazing subs. If you need a box, MTI makes some nice ones. I have one and it is beautiful.
The pdx amp is great. I have two pdx amps. I wouldn't pay full price ever for one though. I bought my v9 and f6 used for less than $500 for the pair.
