2017 lariat with sony, upgrade too kicker it works
so I was told by many even kicker that there sf150sc15 amp/box package would not work because of auto start stop , well they are wrong , I turned auto start stop and active noise management off via forscan .... works awesome !
yes I it pricey and I'm sure there is a better cheaper way but I had laying from a previous truck around so I thought id try it , blow the sony sub out of the water ..............

How much sound upgrade did you get out of the factory speakers with the better amp. I'm looking at doing this to my truck but not sure the power stage is worth it or just the substage upgrade form kicker. Also my concern is mine also has the sony with auto stop start function.

A forscan dongle is only around $30 on Amazon. It's totally worth it not only for audio needs but a bunch of other cool functions. Just a thought since you mentioned perhaps getting an amp.
