Default Aftermarket Sub with AMP Problems!! Help!!

2018 F150 3.5 Ecoboost
Had a aftermarket JL Audio sub with amp installed in my truck. A few weeks later i started having electrical issues. My key fob started freaking out the door would not lock or unlock i would have no power at all but i could hear the motors for the power windows still on the only way to stop it was disconnect the battery and wait 10 seconds and everything would be fine as long as i didn't use the key fob. Then the next issue i was driving down the street message popped up said transmission not in park and truck died right there while driving i had it towed to the dealership. Ford replaced the BCM and when i picked up the truck i noticed my sub was not working. Called ford they told me they pulled out the fuse.Took my truck back to the place where my sub was installed they put the fuse back in no problem. 1 to 2 weeks later same thing happens again transmission not in park truck dies while driving. Ford replaces the BCM again and the mechanic tells me he really doesn't like where the stereo people tapped into the power .. Told me to tell them to get away from the BCM ?? Has anyone heard or seen something like this? Could the sub and amp be the problem? I just want my truck to run im think of pulling out the sub and amp its not worth the problems. Any advice would help

Can you attach a photo where the shop tapped the power from?

Show use where the power was tapped. I cant imagine the shop wouldn't change the power tap point after the dealer replaced the BCM.

You are lucky they replaced the BCM considering it wasn't Ford that caused the problem.

You would think they would just change it . But of course they called me and said the wiring was correct.. I was not OK with that i told them maybe we should just pull it out. Tech told me to let him talk with his managers to see what they can do for me. 1 hour passed they called me and asked if i could get in contact with the mechanic. I haven't heard anything now for the last hour or so

My truck is at the specialists now (that is the place who ford uses to install aftermarket speakers) so i cant take a picture right now but i did see it was by the passenger front door near the fuse panel it was a grey colored wire they tapped into. Mechanic told me it goes directly into the BCM ? The ford dealership has been in contact with stereo installers today. I have not heard anything back yet.

Ford did not say this caused the problem for sure.. Only that it was something i changed after I purchased the truck in October of last year. That they think it "might be pissing off the BCM but were not sure this is causing the problem" that was the direct quote from the mechanic

The only proper place to grab power from is the positive terminal of the battery, any other location has the ability to affect the highly sensitive electrical components in the truck.

If they didn't grab power from the positive battery post then they didn't grab power form right place. I would take that fuse out immediately until you verify. It should be very obvious when you open the hood and look at the battery. Please post a picture.
