I noticed today that My amp is always on even when the truck is off. have any of you experienced this with your system in a 2015? If so how were you able to fix it?

This is what I did with the 2014 Amp/Bracket to fit in my 2015. Cut the bracket and then used an "L" bracket to reinforce the cut area. Then bent the front portion of the bracket and bolted it to the underside of the dash. Solid with no touching (not even the module it sits next to) or movement. Might have to rotate the picture with the amp next to the module since it looks like it might be upside down.

Now to run the harness and finish the installation.

Any questions let me know.

My system is still running strong. No complaints at all, especially for the net $275 it cost after selling the door speakers. The only difference I've noticed is it does take a few extra seconds now for the stereo to turn on and produce sound.

Wanted to share my experience to this thread. Just got my kit installed on saturday and frankly I was NOT blown away by it but it was a major improvement. Nobody seemed to have definitive answers on door speaker size for 2015. Let me make it clear. They are proprietary bull****! so more or less they are 6x9 but if you take the stock ones out and try to screw right in, it will not fill up the space all the way. I decided that if I was going to need an adaptor either way, I may as well use the 6x8's that came with the kit.

if you are still only using your stock speakers in the front doors, you are missing out big time

I went out and bought an $8 piece of plywood and a $30 jigsaw and I took out the old speaker, traced it onto the plywood then traced the 6x8 inside of that. Took me all of about 10 minutes to rig up 2 adaptors with plywood and install the speakers. Much louder, way crisper sound. The rear apparently is 6.5" rounds so there is no way to make these 6x8's work there but simply upgrading the front is probably all anyone really needs. Can probably eek out a bit more volume with some aftermarkets in the rear but not a big deal.

I don't know why Ford used that funky adapter for the 6x9's in the front door? Mounting depth? Sure would have been just as easy to make the hole the stock 6x9 size.

I have a 3D printer I am just learning to use. If I had specs on the adapter I am sure I can just print them up and sell them for a couple of bux

Has anyone installed just the substage sub woofer from 2010-2014 into a 2015? I took mine out of my 2013 when I bought my new truck and wanted to know if the speaker wires to tap into are still in the same spot or if there is a better place to tap into them. Anyone done this yet?

As for mounting the amp, I took a little different route. I stashed the amp behind the glove box. There is a perfectly sized space back there for the amp to snugly slide in. This way I had plenty of slack in my wiring harnesses and didn't have to beat my knuckles up mounting the bracket (which I removed completely). See pics:

Empty space behind the glove box.

Right before I connected the harness and slid the amp the rest of the way back in there. Just be careful, there are a lot of wires back there.
I think I might go this route... I have a few questions though. Where did you run your 12v power wires? Did you go through the fire wall on the passenger side? If so, where did you go through it? I know where to go through on the driver's side, but I don't think the wire is long enough to go that way coming from the glovebox.

One more question for anyone that can answer.
Which wire on the subwoofer plug coming from the amp is the positive signal; the green or brown? I need to know this because I'm wiring in a kicker hideaway powered sub instead of the one that comes with the kit.

Thanks for any help
