Default 2013 Supercrew Options

Hey guys im signing papers on my 2013 supercrew tomorrow. It has the factory Sony audio with large screen with 700watt sub( lol ) under the rear seat( what a waste IMO of a upgrade). Ive already heard it and its gotta be replaced. I have a nice alpine cda-9855 in my hands but I LOVE THE Factory LOOK of the BIG Navigation screen.

What options do i have if I want to use the existing hu. I have used LOC in the past but I know I have sync on this new one. Also Im looking to run a 4 channel amp and or a 5 channel. Im def replacing the factory speakers first like tomorrow . has anyone converted the 6x8 to componet sets? Are the kicker drop in's good? DO I have to worry about magnet size when replacing the factory ones?

Do i get a box off ebay?? Shallow Mount woofers I know zero about

Im not trying to get too complicated in this install but def want to rock out the inside. Sorry for 20 questions. PS if you have upgraded yours post some pics.

Im going to try the Sony doors and pillars for a while just to see if after I take out a majority or the bass to those how they sound. Im just going to tie into the factory sub wiring for my 2 kicker amps and I bought the seat lift kit from LMI so i could get a big box for 4 kicker L7 8" subs.

I just replaced the stock Sony 6X8s in my 2013 FX4 w/the Sony upgrade and large touchscreen. I talked to two stereo install places who said I don't need any amp for the speakers - and they're right. The stock amp already puts out about 45 W/channel so unless you need to have crazy loud music you should be fine without the amp.

I put Alpine SPS-610C components in the front and Alpine SPS-517 6X8s in the rear and it sounds great! For the stock sub I did the poly-fill mod - sounds a lot better w/more thump. And the components do have a lot more bass in them so that coupled w/ the poly-fill in the sub really makes a difference. All told, just under $300 for great sound.

im looking to replace the stock speakers with kicker ks68's because there true 6x8 i dont want to go to the 5x7's. I will amp them later because I know im not going to get the loudness without a amp.
