Do you NEED a LOC if you have speaker level inputs, no you don't, but I've heard some people say that it'll sound better with the RCA's (don't personnally believe that but it's what some say).
BUT I don't see your speaker inputs in this picture, just your speaker outputs, Punch remote input, RCA inputs and P/G/R inputs. So either you don't have them or this isn't the right picture. What's the brand/model number of your amp I'll look it up.

any time you do an loc or speaker level input always hook up to both left and right speakers. think of it this way. music is recorded in stereo and some songs will even isolate them in order to appear to have a sound stage with music coming from one side ot the other. if you only hook up to one side then you only get sound from that side. if something plays out of only the other side you won't hear it from the subs. a mono amp just means that is takes both left and right audio and puts it in to one output. you still need both signals though.
