Default 2013 Dash Install

Hey y'all!

You've all been more than helpful in the past, maybe you can help again.

My current truck has the awful 4 inch screen display that literally does nothing other than radio controls. I'm looking to upgrade that. I'm not in need of navigation, just bluetooth and the ability to use a back up camera, want to keep the truck looking good by not hitting things while backing in.

I am looking at this:
Pioneer AVH-290BT Pioneer AVH-290BT

Would I be able to remove that 4 inch screen by getting a dash kit that would fit? Is it that easy to remove?

Dash Kit

What else would I need? Wiring harness, steering wheel controls, what else?

2013 F150 XLT Regular Cab

Steve it shouldn't be that hard. If you go to crutchfields website you can put in make and model and it will give you all components compatible with your truck and all accessories needed

That dash kit won't work. You need the Maestro setup. All plug in play

You're right, upon further review there's something I was missing. Any idea how I can find one that isn't $300?

Not really. That is the going price. It includes all harnesses and works like stock

yes with the maestro kit but you won't need them as you can do it with the new headunit and/or the steering wheel.
