Not to hijack this thread but....I am using the PAC unit for my sub and powering my door speakers off the factory HU like you are doing. I was thinking of amping the door speakers. I was thinking of cutting the output speaker wires on the PAC. Capping the ends of the speakers wires going to the PAC and connecting the amp speakers wires to the wires on the PAC going to the speakers. Does that make sense? Would that mess up my Sync?

I looked into this PAC harness and could not visualize how it works.

For me I used the Metra BT-5520 harness. cut the speaker outs from the headunit, capped off the other end. Ran my speaker outs form the headunit to my LC6I LOC, then from their RCA's to my amp. and from my amp to my door all new speaker wire.

BUT you could run from your amp, back to the other side of the spliced Metra harness and use the factory speaker wiring.

I was looking at doing the same thing with the PAC. Did you end up trying it - how did it work?
