Hmmm. Try the AUX input, or the CD player? AM and FM? Need more info to troubleshoot. Has it been working, and just quit?

Figured I'd type up some basic info since there are so many questions that come across.

Q1: What stock systems were available?

1: "Standard" and "Premium":
Various head units including AM/FM, AM/FM/CD, AM/FM/CD6, Nav (Siruis Available in some models) only 07+ have dash mounted line in
6"x8" 1 way woofers in all 4 doors
Can you tell me where the line in is mounted? I would like to switch out my 04 single disc CD player for a stock Ford 6CD player with the line in. Is that possible or is it mounted somewhere else?

Thanks

It's on the corner of the tray on top of the dash.

Hmm...if I could find one of those certain trays, would it hook up to my stock radio?

Or is there another way you'd suggest to hook my iPod up while keeping the stock look?

Do you want iPod control or just regular line in?

I would just want a line in, since I don't have any radio steering wheel controls anyways.

Cheapest route is PIE's FRD04-AUX, quick and simple install, too. IIRC, runs around $75 new.

With the 2011 6 disc premium system is there a way to add an amplifier and sound processor (360.2) but also still retain the sync system?
I saw a pac kit on crutchfield however the person that reviewed it says it was junk. Are there any other alternatives?

Also when you add a 4 channel amp for the door speakers, do you just abondon the stock wires to the speakers and replace them with new wires from the amp?

Just trying to figure this stuff out is driving me crazy!!
